Spread the word: Italian Americans, ages 21-35, are invited to explore and celebrate their heritage this January. Our goal is to empower a new generation of Italian American leaders!

What: Italian American Future Leaders Conference

Where: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (FLA Live Arena

When: January 13-16, 2023

How to Attend: Submit an Application

Sponsored by: The Conference of Presidents of Major Italian American Organizations (COPOMIAO)

COPOMIAO, through its President Basil M. Russo and its Conference Chair John Viola, has raised more than $200,000 to fund this precedent-setting Conference for Italian Americans, ages 21 to 35.

The only cost the attendees will incur are their flight/travel expenses to and from the hotel, which can be paid for by them or the Italian American organization that sponsors them. All hotel rooms, meals, educational and social activities, and sporting events will be paid for by COPOMIAO.

“This is a marvelous opportunity for someone to encourage a young Italian American to meet others like themselves from throughout the country, and to participate in a program that will allow them to appreciate and identify with their heritage,” stated Basil Russo.

All you need to do is encourage our younger generations to fill out and submit the application. Each applicant will be notified as to whether they have been accepted into the Conference within two weeks of applying.

“Despite Italian Americans’ gradual assimilation in the U.S., many aren’t aware that we are still a self-identified community that heavily influences the nation’s mainstream culture. Future leaders will create future generations who will carry on our storied heritage and legacy. See you this January,” said John Viola.

There is a limited number of remaining spots, so act quickly! For all details, visit www.iafuture.org
